A review

I got the following from a friend of mine who used to live out in the Amargosa Valley.  I really enjoyed what he said, and since nobody else is reviewing my book, I thought I would let Drew Wickman be the first one to do so.  Here is what he said:

I got the book, read it and liked it. It’s a bit difficult to read something written by someone you know without thinking about the author. The setting was familiar so that was a bit distracting. But after a while I forgot both of those things and really got into the story. Always a good sign. It kept me reading because I wanted to see what was going to happen next. It reminded me a little of Elmore Leonard’s novels with the humor and the mob connections and people in circumstances they couldn’t have predicted.

Thanks Drew.   Drew is an artist living in Lone Pine California, where he teaches and does his pottery.
