Aaand, it’s Thursday!

I have been a slug about writing for my blog, partly because I’m not sure anyone reads it, and partly because I am lazy. However, I decided I am going to try to write something every Thursday, even if it’s gobbledegook. So, here goes.
I have been working on too many things lately, which has stalled my output. While I am writing this, I have a sourdough starter I took from the refrigerator to warm up to room temperature. I’ll get some bread started in a while.
I still have only transcribed part of the first interview tape for my work-in-progress about Afghanistan.
I work off and on re-editing my first book, which will be issued under the title “Jerry’s Blues,” and I am also working on a sequel to “Amargosa Blues.”
Oh, and did I mention daily life? My wife and I play golf almost every morning, and I do the cooking around here, also most of the grocery shopping. When I retired before she did, I took on these duties because it seemed fair; they eventually became my role in the family.
But enough of that. It’s Thursday, a beautiful day here in the west, and life is pretty nice. I will stop writing now, because I have a stew to work on, besides making up the first proof on the bread.
Have a great day, or whatever, and I will see you next Thursday.
