It’s been a while since I worked on this thing. Part of the time Patsy and I were out of town, and part of the time I was just too lazy. Okay, I was writing as well, but a lot of it was just shear laziness. Anyway, hello to all my invisible fans out there.
They closed the Starbucks up by us, which was too bad, because I liked to go over there and work. So I had to find another place to work. I’ve gone to another place about three miles away, at least I can get coffee, electricity and a place to sit and think.
While I was there recently, they had an old Bob Dylan tune on their muzak, something I haven’t heard since I was in my thirties. I was going to the library anyway, so I picked up a Dylan album. When I tried to play it in my car, I discovered an old CD that must have been in the player for at least a year and has become one with the mechanism. So much for Bob Dylan.
Funny how the memories pile up. I’ve been trying to work out a mystery set in San Francisco during the early 1960s. Maybe that’s what got me interested in listening to Dylan again. Now it’ll have to wait until I get the CD out of the player. Funny thing is, I suspect it’s a Bob Seger album. Well, I’ll see.
That’s about it for tonight. I’ll be back later in the week. Until then, please be well and hug the ones you love.
