Alvin Toffler wrote ‘Future Shock,’ in which he said that there would be too much change in too short a period of time and that people would have difficulties adapting. In ways, he was right, although not 100%, in my view. Yes, there are massive changes coming at us all the time, but the human brain seems to deal with them.
What the problem is, is time. I’m supposed to keep up my blog, my Facebook, work on editing my next book and starting a new book as well. Along the way, I need to find some magazines to write for, to support my expensive hobby (writing) and I need an agent. I can deal with all that, and so far I have been able to maintain a good relationship with my wife. I suppose my question is, how far can a sixty-nine year old brain stretch?
I’ve also been researching Achille Marozzo, a 16th Cent. Sword Master, so I can learn his system. So, as you can see, I get a little stretched out here. I’m hoping someone will eventually come along and write something on the blog, ask a question, almost anything that I can respond to. I think this would prime the pump, so to speak, and give me something to talk about other than prattling on.
I guess that’s enough for tonight. I’ll be back sometime tomorrow, Have a great evening, if there’s anybody out there.
